Upon first meeting Pay Podraza, you might just get a cold chill down you spine the minute he speaks. His natural voice is such a dead ringer for Johnn Cash that if you closed your eyes and visualized the singer, It’s amost eerie. Paul was born in Goose Creek, Texas near the banks of the Trinity River.

 

As a child, Paul would always impersonate Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash, but it was Johnny Cash that made and indelible impression on him, and when he belts out the first lyrics of Folsom, you’re even ore convinced he is a mirrow image of Johnny Cash. As Paul put it, The Johnny Cash fascination is more of alove thing with the man and his music, “It’s just that I have so much love and respect for what Cash did for all of us folks”

 

I think he was a spiritual giant who had much to say in his songs and life. I feel called to “sing the songs of and honor the legendary Johnny Cash, and try to impart to my listeners a little bit of the message of love and joy that he let us”
